Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board Eligible (BE) Emergency Medicine Physician for an ongoing, clinic-only locum opportunity, starting October 1, 2025 . This is a great role for a provider who can offer flexibility and commitment to covering key holiday weeks.

• Start Date: October 1, 2025
• Coverage Type: Clinic Only
• Schedule: We are specifically looking for a locum who has ongoing availability and is comfortable with night shifts, but can cover any shift as needed.
• Shifts are variable: 6a-6p and 6p-6a , 7 days a week.
• There is double coverage on weekdays from 10a-10p and weekends from 11a-10p.
• The locum will typically be scheduled for a 12-hour shift.
• Holiday Coverage: You must be willing to cover both Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks .
• Work Environment: You will be working in a combined EM/UC at a tertiary Level II hospital .
• There are 38 combined ED/UC beds .
• The total patient volume is approximately 140 patients per shift .
• Team & Support: There is at least one APC in urgent care from 7:30a-12a with several overlapping shifts.
• Onboarding: The first day will be dedicated to orientation.
• EMR System: We utilize Cerner for our electronic medical records.

• Minimum Board Certification: Board Eligible (BE) is required.
• Licensure: ABEM certification is required for this location.
• Timekeeping: The hospital requires providers to use a "real time" Mobile Time Clock, preferably with GPS functionality.
