This facility is a Level 2 trauma center with primary stroke certification. The hospital supports a Family Medicine residency program and provides teaching opportunities with 3rd and 4th-year medical students. With 15 beds in the department and approximately 450 deliveries per year, the facility offers a balanced clinical experience in a supportive environment.

Job Details:
- Coverage dates available from December 2025 onward on a rotating schedule
- 24-hour call coverage, all-inclusive
- Must respond to ED and L&D within 10 minutes
- Average of 8 calls per day (approximately 55 per week)
- Approximately 4.3 patient encounters per day
- Active Michigan license required (no IMLC)
- Board certification or board eligible status required
- Arrival within 30 minutes of initial contact for emergency conditions
- Participation in teaching with Family Medicine residents and medical students
- Skills preferred: low and high-risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, routine and complicated deliveries, C-sections, gynecological procedures
- Conscious sedation module completion required if requesting those privileges (available free at facility)
