Surgery - Breast Physician

Locums National is seeking Surgical Oncologist/ Breast surgeon for a Locums need in California.

Specialty: Breast Surgery/Surgical Oncology

Requirements:

• Fellowship Trained or Extensive Experience: Must be a fellowship-trained breast surgeon or a general surgeon with extensive experience in breast surgery.
• Surgical Skills: Proficient in performing lumpectomies, mastectomies (including nipple-sparing mastectomies), joint oncoplastic surgeries, sentinel node biopsies, and axillary dissections.
• Knowledge Base: Have a strong understanding of high-risk and benign breast diseases, as well as breast cancer survivorship.
• Case Volume: Provide case logs demonstrating at least 100 breast surgeries within the past two years.

Note: The locum is only required to perform oncology breast surgery, mastectomy/lumpectomy, and related procedures. Reduction mammoplasty, augmentation mammoplasty, and mastopexy are not required.
