QES Tech The Quantitative Equity Solutions (QES) team, part of GSAM, manages over $157BN across nearly 33,000 tax-efficient equity portfolios, mutual funds, exchange funds, and ETFs. We specialize in delivering highly customized investment solutions to High Net Worth, Institutional, and Retail clients. Our engineering team works closely with Portfolio Managers to develop digital tools and sophisticated investment strategies, creating scalable, quantitatively based portfolio management systems aligned with clients' investment goals. We collaborate across divisions to develop end-to-end technology solutions that support the growth of the QES business. Innovation and best practices in software development are highly valued to ensure reliable, high-quality products. We are seeking a strong full-time Software Engineer who is: Skilled in coding for large platforms. Possesses 4+ years of professional Java experience. The platform operates in a multi-language environment, so familiarity with multiple programming languages is expected. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Web development experience in JavaScript is a plus. Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced front-office environment is advantageous.
