Description Cimarron is seeking

Software Engineers

to be responsible for the software design, development, testing, and integration of the Axiom Space Commercial EVA Space Suit software in Houston, TX. The selected candidates will play a key role in developing software for commercial human spaceflight systems.

Key Duties

Design, develop, test, integrate, and deploy software solutions such as propulsion, command & data handling (C&DH), environmental control and life support systems (ECLSS), caution and warning (C&W), networks, datalinks, power, and other flight systems.

Design, develop, test, integrate, and deploy software in prototype, simulation, and flight environments.

Communicate with subject matter experts across disciplines, users, and management throughout the software test and development lifecycle.

Maintain disciplined software configuration control and management processes.

Encapsulate FSW CONX code within the Suit System Workstation (SSW) environment.

Develop utilities to support hardware communications.

Design and implement a web-based front end and back end for the TARS-T system.

Develop and maintain software resident on the DCU Mockup Trainer.

Requirements Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

U.S. citizenship or permanent residency due to facility security requirements.

Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

5+ years of related experience.

Proficiency in C/C++ programming.

Proficiency with React.

Experience with LabVIEW.

Proficiency with the TRICK simulation environment.

Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

Experience with the TARI Framework, MSP430 microcontrollers, embedded systems development.

Experience with Scrum, Agile, JIRA, Git, MBSE, JAMA, Confluence.

Knowledge of embedded communication protocols and networking protocols.

Experience with software development standards such as DO-178C.

Designing software in UML.
