Overview
Schedule: Sat, Sun, Mon 6:30p - 7a Performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnosis and treatment requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Prefer experienced MRI Technologists. Prefer satisfactory completion of an accredited MRI program with advanced MRI certification or registry eligibility for MRI certification. At least one year of experience within the Radiology or MRI department with knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy is a plus. Candidates not MRI registered may be required to complete the Medical Imaging Consultants (MIC) "MRI Cross-Trainer" depending on experience level.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
Note:
A frequent driver is defined as one who uses their personal or Shands vehicle a) at least once daily, b) at least five trips per week, or c) drives over 150 miles per week for work. Please indicate the appropriate operator designation on the Request for Personnel (RFP) form when submitting a position.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Prefer ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registered technologist. Must pass the ARRT or ARMRIT advanced MRI examination within one year of employment. Must have current BLS certification.
