Actual Job Title: Business Objects / Microstrategy BI Developer: The Reporting & Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting the BI framework to meet business needs. The candidate should be experienced in Microstrategy and Business Objects, including designing semantic layers and universes, gathering requirements, and communicating effectively across technical and business teams. The role involves working with structured, unstructured, and embedded data, interfacing with various organizational stakeholders, and demonstrating excellent communication skills. Required Experiences: Over 5 years of MicroStrategy development experience, including working with the Intelligence Server, Desktop/Developer, Architect, Administrator, and other MicroStrategy tools. Experience in creating and integrating reports and objects, managing users and security, and implementing Slowly Changing Dimensions in MicroStrategy. Experience with Mobile implementations is preferred. Business Objects Experience: Over 3 years of development experience, including report analysis, design, deployment, and visualization. Proficiency with Business Objects Universe Designer, IDT, WebI, and Data Services. Experience with various BI components and creating dashboards with interactive features. Additional Skills: Over 10 years of overall IT experience, including data warehouse projects with Star and Snowflake schemas. Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills with Oracle. Knowledge of other BI tools like Qlik Sense is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
