Family Medicine Residency Spokane - Faculty Physician
Family Medicine Residency Spokane is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE), board-certified Family Medicine physician for a faculty position. Established in 1972, it is a flagship Family Medicine Residency program affiliated with the University of Washington School of Medicine. The program includes the first OB Fellowship in the country and an ACGME-accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship, training 10 core residents and two rural-track residents annually in a state-of-the-art teaching health clinic.
The program emphasizes collaboration with Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Residencies within a patient-centered, medical-home model at the Spokane Teaching Health Clinic (STHC). The sponsoring institutions include Washington State University, Empire Health Foundation, and Providence Health & Services.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and instruct resident physicians in the STHC and obstetrical floor; inpatient hospital duties are preferred but not required.
Provide abbreviated direct patient care in the STHC and/or Maternity Clinic.
Staff the Family Medicine hospital service and/or obstetrical service, including call duties.
Advise resident physicians.
Deliver didactic lectures, workshops, and informal educational presentations.
Oversee curricular and programmatic activities.
Perform various administrative duties.
Compensation: Annual salary ranges from $222,757 to $308,426, which may include productivity incentives, call pay, shift incentives, and CME benefits.
