Description Conduct evaluations for patients of all ages employing standardized tools and observational methods. Create individualized treatment strategies to meet both short and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives. Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions with an emphasis on communication, language skills, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing issues. Engage with an interdisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and families, to formulate cohesive care plans. Educate patients and their families to support their growth and progress beyond the clinic. Facilitate speech therapy evaluations and interventions in rare inpatient scenarios, ensuring a seamless continuum of care. Maintain precise and current documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational policies. Keep abreast of advancements in the field via continuing education and collaboration with colleagues. Education
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is yet to be attained. Certifications
A valid state license as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA highly preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be secured within 30 days of hire. Skills
