Hyannis, Massachusetts (02601) - Cape Cod healthcare jobs Facility Setting:
Cardiac Catheterization Lab Assignment Length:
13 weeks (October 6, 2025 - January 3, 2026) Hours:
40 hours per week Shift:
12:00 PM - 8:00 PM, 8-hour evening shifts On-Call:
Required nights, weekends, and holidays in rotation Guaranteed Hours:
40 per week Estimated Weekly Pay:
$2,680 - $2,870 per week Qualifications - Cath Lab Registered Nurse
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Must pass CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia Exams prior to start date Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience At least 1 year of recent experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or similar clinical setting Strong communication skills; ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Key Responsibilities - Cath Lab RN
Provide direct patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the cardiac cath lab Administer and monitor patient responses to cardiac medications and interventions Guide and support patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary healthcare staff Maintain high standards of professional nursing practice in accordance with hospital policy Demonstrate proficiency in electronic nursing documentation Serve as a clinical resource for patient care, orientation, and staff education Participate in unit staff meetings and mandatory hospital programs Monitor and identify quality indicators for patient care and safety Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with clinical techniques and regulations Deliver service excellence to patients, families, and healthcare colleagues Utilize lead apron and follow safety protocols during all cath lab procedures
