Job Title: Sr. Developer- Salesforce Contract/ Contract to hire Atlanta, GA

Experience Required:

6+ years Overview: The Developer is responsible for the

analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation

of business and technical IT solutions using appropriate software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. The role varies slightly based on the technology focus:

Developer (Core):

Works on systems built using core technologies. Developer (COTS):

Focuses on custom off-the-shelf systems. Developer (Niche):

Specializes in niche technologies such as eCommerce platforms. Specialty Development (Delta terminology):

Includes Mobility and TPF systems. Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and implement components of IT solutions using standard SDLC practices. Participate in system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and migrations. Analyze and resolve business and technical problems using appropriate tools and methodologies. Apply specialized knowledge in areas such as system integration, legacy systems, cross-functional technologies, or industry-specific applications. Interact with stakeholders to understand the business environment, requirements, and technical context. Validate scope, timelines, and deliverables for assigned projects. Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of complex IT solutions across multiple platforms and technologies. Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, including recommended implementation strategies. Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, tools, and best practices. Assist in identifying and evaluating alternative solutions to business problems.

Salesforce-Specific Responsibilities:

Champion development and integration best practices and related standards. Design with long-term maintainability in mind-favoring native Salesforce features and functionality. Develop and deploy Apex classes, triggers, test methods, and Lightning Web Components to meet business needs. Build integrations between Salesforce and external platforms using Apex REST APIs or integration tools (e.g., ETL solutions). Implement document generation features and related integrations. Debug and troubleshoot components and code written by others, quickly identifying root causes and proposing fixes. Communicate clearly the rationale behind selected development approaches, including trade-offs between different options.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum

6 years of professional experience

in software development or systems integration. Strong expertise in Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, integrations). Deep understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and data flows between platforms. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven experience in leading or contributing to enterprise-level IT solution development projects.
