4-day work week
with occasional
hybrid
availability within Samaritan Evergreen Hospice in Albany, OR!
Samaritan Evergreen Hospice operates as one of three hospice houses in the state, supporting patients and their families in end-of-life care through a holistic and collaborative model
alongside a friendly, established team,
including the medical director, two nurse practitioners and support staff.
Clinicians and their families will appreciate the abundant outdoor recreation opportunities available in the Willamette Valley, as well as proximity to the pristine Oregon Coast, the Cascade Mountains for snow sports, and Portland, Oregon's largest city - all within two hours! What's In It For You
Serve nearby communities by managing symptoms in the home setting and the 12-bed inpatient hospice house; some visits in the field Typical day shifts are 8am to 5pm,
4 days/week
with flexibility to
work some shifts remotely . Provide RN education, as well as assisting with Oregon Vital Events Registration System (OVERS). Some call: 4-6 call shifts monthly including up to one weekend per month. For entire team, average daily census of 183 (144 valley, 39 coast) Attractive salary, starting & relocation bonus, paid med mal/tail, CME, competitive benefits package. Job Requirements
Must have Nurse Practitioner License with FNP or ANP certification BLS required, ACHPN certification preferred Excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing team-oriented care Eligibility to work in the United States
