Why We Need Your Talents:
The Steward Supervisor is charged with supervision of staff and processes to maintain control over all hotel/kitchen equipment, assuring proper cleaning and storage.
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact: Supervision of staff to include interviewing, training, performance management, disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations. Responsible for scheduling to assure staffing levels consistent with budget and at the level to enhance the Maryland Live Casino guest gaming experience. Responsible for controlling, issuing and inventory of all equipment used in the restaurant, banquet room, room service, and bars. Responsible for overseeing the cleaning and storage of all wares used in food and beverage. Schedule cleaning of kitchen and banquet storage and organizing inventory. Ensure the safety and security of all employees and guest. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Must-Haves:
A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Two (2) years' experience in a hotel or high volume kitchen area. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position. Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk extended distances during shifts. The team member is frequently (80%) required to stand; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and bend. The team member must occasionally (10%) lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. What We Offer
