PRIMARY PURPOSE:
We are seeking a SR Continuous Improvement Specialist (Operational Excellence - Supply Chain & Digital Transformation) with expertise in Lean Management Systems, Kaizen facilitation, and Supply Chain analytics to accelerate operational excellence and digital transformation. This role will be instrumental in building end-to-end process improvements while leveraging Power BI and IoT integrations to connect shop-floor data with supply chain execution.
You will serve as a Lean SME and digital enabler, driving impact across manufacturing, planning, logistics, and procurement, while equipping the organization with data-driven tools to improve efficiency, service, and cash.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lean & Kaizen Leadership Deploy and sustain a Lean Management System (Tier boards, Gemba Walks, Standard Work, KPI visual boards). Facilitate Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis workshops across functions. Champion the use of Lean Six Sigma tools (5S, SMED, A3, PDCA, DMAIC, Poka-Yoke) to eliminate waste and standardize processes. Mentor and coach teams at all levels to build a CI culture of accountability and problem-solving. Supply Chain Analytics & Process Improvement
Partner with Planning, Procurement, and Logistics to streamline processes, improve service levels, and reduce lead times. Develop and maintain performance scorecards for key metrics (OTIF, Inventory Turns, DIO, OEE, Forecast Accuracy). Support S&OP / SIOP initiatives by linking shop-floor performance with end-to-end supply chain outcomes. Identify opportunities to optimize cash, inventory, and capacity utilization through Lean practices. Digital Tools & IoT Integration
Build Power BI dashboards that provide real-time visibility into operational and supply chain performance. Connect IoT data (machines, MES, ERP, WMS, QMS) into digital dashboards to enable predictive and prescriptive insights. Collaborate with IT and digital teams to automate reporting and deploy data-driven CI initiatives. Explore opportunities for Industry 4.0 adoption to enable smart manufacturing and supply chain optimization. Continuous Improvement Culture
Lead cross-functional improvement projects that deliver measurable results in EBITDA, service, and cash flow. Act as a change agent, influencing leaders and teams to embrace innovation and operational excellence. Standardize best practices across sites and ensure knowledge transfer through training and coaching. QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred). 5-10 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Operational Excellence. Strong exposure to Supply Chain processes (planning, S&OP/SIOP, procurement, logistics). Proven experience in Kaizen facilitation and Lean Management System deployment. Advanced skills in Power BI and data visualization; SQL or Python a plus. Familiarity with IoT/Industry 4.0 applications in manufacturing or supply chain. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred. Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills. Key Competencies:
