We are currently seeking a
full-time
Certified Nursing Assistant / Lab Tech to join our team at
Okeechobee Correctional Institution
located in
Okeechobee, Florida. The
CNA
works under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. The CNA is responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger stick blood sugars, and assisting with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment. Shift-Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri; 6am - 2:30pm, Wed 4am - 12:30pm
Qualifications
Florida CNA license Phlebotomy certification a plus Current CPR One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred Corrections experience not required Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:
