Associate Supply Chain Specialist (Distribution AOG)Company:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Specialist. Position is responsible for working with customers, suppliers, and associated stakeholders to achieve solution delivery expectation in support of escalated requirements as part of our Boeing Global Services (BGS) Emergent Requirements Team.The ideal candidate will have the willingness to learn and strive to demonstrate a high degree of cross-functional collaboration and have a desire to provide world-class customer support at our Irving, Texas location.Position Responsibilities:Assess and analyze customer escalations and formulate problem resolutionsCoordinate the activities required to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent customer requirements (e.g. AOG)Review and decipher engineering data for alternate problem resolutionAct as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common objectiveDelegates tasks to manage workloadEngage in cross-functional communications to deliver concise and timely resultsSupport suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plansAbility to manage multiple concurrent deadlinesAssist in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities and capacityAble to adapt in a fast-changing and high-stress work environmentBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):1+ year of experience with supply chain management1+ year of experience in customer support or customer service roleMust have high attention to detail, be a self-starter, and results drivenThis position is for a 24/7, 365-day operation, and must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays and overtime.Must be proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Must have experience applying effective verbal and written communications skills including spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style, proof reading and editing skillsAbility to travel 10% as needed.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience in aerospace support, supply chain management, & logistics planningExperience with ERP and CRM systems, such as SAP and/or SalesforceBasic proficiency in aerospace industry knowledgeCreative problem-solving skillsBasic technical and engineering backgroundExperience implementing process improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices (e.g. Six Sigma)Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
