Job Description
Our client has an opening for a Full Stack Java Developer position (#86979). This is a 12+ month position with the possibility of extension, located in Lansing, MI. Interested candidates should submit their current resume and hourly rate as soon as possible. Responsibilities Support development and maintenance programs as a full-stack Java developer with strong front-end skills. Collaborate with project managers, application owners, and resource managers within an agile development team to organize work, develop, test, and deploy code. Perform a variety of complex tasks and report directly to a project lead or manager. Work with UI/UX designers to build user interfaces and responsive applications, requiring excellent communication and teamwork skills. Be self-directed, committed, and quick to learn.
Required and Desired Skills
Experience with JBOSS Enterprise environment (desired). At least 4 years of programming complex systems using current JAVA with IDE tools such as Eclipse or JBoss Developer Studio. At least 7 years of experience in programming application user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks and CSS. At least 7 years of experience in SQL and/or PL/SQL. Experience with Spring framework (desired). At least 4 years of experience with Hibernate framework. At least 5 years of experience working as a programmer in an Agile environment. Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Bootstrap (required). Experience with Log4j, JUnit, and Tiles (required). Experience with Java 8 (desired). Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, Data Tables, jQuery, and jQuery UI (all required). Experience with Oracle 12C or 19C, and Crystal Reports (required). Knowledge of ADA, WCAG 2.0, Section 508, and UX design principles (desired).
