Director of Nutrition and Culinary

is responsible for coordinating the Culinary & Nutrition Services Department at our established care center near Cedar Lake in Minneapolis. Responsibilities include overseeing all dining services and ensuring meals are prepared and presented according to regulations. The role also involves managing all staff within the department. Plan and develop menus in compliance with current regulations and requirements Manage budget planning, record keeping, and billing Establish departmental regulations and procedures in conformance with regulations and standards Audit serving areas, kitchen, dining rooms, and dish rooms for sanitation and compliance Hire and supervise Culinary & Nutrition Services staff Serve as a preceptor for students Required Qualifications

Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree One or more years of experience License/Certification/Registration: Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Dietetic Technician Certification (must obtain within 18 months of hire) Food Manager Certification Approved Food Sanitation Safety Course (e.g., Serv Safe, Always Food Safe, TAP Series, LLC, Advanced Health Institute) Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in a related field, such as Registered Dietitian Three or more years of experience Supervisory and institutional cooking experience Purchasing experience Benefits

The pay range for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE) is $72,550.40 to $102,440.00 annually. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and market conditions.
