Quality Inspector

Reports to: Quality Manager Hours: Typically 12a-8a (3rd shift) with flexibility to shift schedule Duties and Responsibilities

Comply with all local, State and Federal safety standards Comply with all company procedures, product development, and quality testing Ensure calibration of all testing equipment Interact with internal customers Interpret impact of testing results on box performance Work with Quality Manager, Quality Analyst, and staff members to plan, assist with, manage, and complete projects Observe equipment conditions and report potential problems to Quality Manager Collect and verify production samples, ensuring accuracy of all related information both on the production floor, and during documentation in the office Routinely walk the production floor to collect samples and verify product and process information Measure collected samples against customer specifications (e.g. color, print, folding quality, scores) to ensure products meet defined quality standards Assist and complete internal FSSC and ER audits Excellent attendance is a must Complete other tasks as assigned Education and/or Experience

HS Diploma or equivalent Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Platforms (Docs, Forms, Slides, Sheets, Gmail) Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to demonstrate strong self-motivation and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk the production floor, and talk or hear. The employee occasionally is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Performance Measurements

Operating standards
