Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Longview, TX . This role will begin in our established oncology clinic, helping to build and grow our oncology service line ahead of the opening of our new, state-of-the-art Cancer Center in October 2026 .
Key Responsibilities-
Provide comprehensive care for hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting

Manage follow-up visits, monitor treatment progress, and adjust care plans as appropriate

Collaborate closely with oncologists, nursing staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary team

Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and ongoing care

Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR and ensure continuity of care

Support the growth and development of the oncology program as patient volume increases

Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
Oncology Certified (AOCN) through Oncology Nursing Society

Previous experience in hematology/oncology required

Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills

Commitment to building a long-term practice and serving the community

Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
