Join Our Hematology Oncology Team in Anderson, SC!

AnMed is seeking a fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist to join our esteemed Cancer Center in Anderson, SC. Nestled along South Carolina s National Heritage Corridor, Anderson is a fast-growing, vibrant community of approximately 185,000 residents. The area boasts a family-oriented atmosphere with an affordable cost of living and a wide array of recreational activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Full-time position covering outpatient, clinic, and minimal hospital rounds.
• Work Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with slight variations possible (32 minimum patient contact hours) and participate in on-call duties.
• Manage practice call and inpatient care for oncology patients (no weekends).
• Engage in a practice that is currently undergoing rebuilding.
• Handle approximately 1200 new cancer cases per year with an average of 15-25 patients per day.
• Utilize state-of-the-art facilities, including a Commission on Cancer Accredited Cancer Center since 1984, an on-site Radiation Oncology department, and a 24-bay outpatient infusion department.
• Gain access to nationwide clinical trials through UC-NCORP and leverage Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with supportive leadership and collegial medical staff.

Qualifications:

• Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Hematology/Medical Oncology (Board Certified is highly preferred).
• Completed fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology.
• Clean malpractice and license history.
• Willingness to obtain or possess a South Carolina medical license.
• DEA and CSR/CDS certifications (must be obtained prior to starting).
• Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates.

License and Certification Requirements:

• South Carolina License (or willing to obtain).
• DEA (required prior to start).
• CSR/CDS (required prior to start).
