This Level-III NICU boasts 34 beds, an average daily census of 25, and handles 3,500 annual deliveries. Job Responsibilities:- Provide care for critically ill neonates in a Level-III NICU setting.
- Collaborate with a multi-specialty team, including pediatric specialists across various disciplines.
- Conduct assessments, make diagnoses, and develop patient care plans.
- Manage transport cases from other regional hospitals.
- Engage with parents to educate and provide emotional support.
- Participate in an 8-hour and 24-hour shift schedule.
- Master's degree (minimum) and/or Doctorate in Nursing.
- NNP Board Certification (FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications not accepted).
- Current 2+ years of experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (not including RN experience).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Current Florida nursing license (or willingness to obtain).
- NNP Board Certification (required).
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start).
- Clean malpractice history (preferred).
