United Digestive's Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates is seeking a dedicated physician to join our dynamic team covering the Griffin and Locust Grove Medical Offices. Located just 25 minutes from Peachtree City, Fayetteville, and McDonough, and less than 40 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson, this is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive environment committed to high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide patient-centered care managing approximately 15-18 patients per day.
- Perform services and procedures, including Colonoscopy, EGD Upper GI Endoscopy, ERCP, EUS, Enteroscopy, Hemorrhoid Banding, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Infusion, Telehealth, Nutrition Counseling, TIF , and Video Capsule Endoscopy.
- Participate in a 1:4 single hospital call schedule at Wellstar Spalding.
- Collaborate with a team of 3 MD/DOs and 4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Engage in the opportunity for professional growth within a well-established practice.
- Open to J1 and H1B visa candidates; sponsorship filing will be handled by the organization.
- Consideration for candidates who were previously Board Certified and are seeking to recertify on a case-by-case basis.
- Accepting new graduates through 2025.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine (REQUIRED)
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED)
- Georgia license (or willingness to obtain) (REQUIRED)
- Clean malpractice history (PREFERRED)
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start) (REQUIRED; no exemptions)
- Valid and active Georgia medical license (required)
- Board Certification or Eligibility in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology (required)
