• Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Urgent Care
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Torrington, CT (with flexibility across New Haven, Middlesex, New London, Windham, Tolland, Hartford, and Litchfield counties)

• Clinical Shift Schedule: Flexible; emphasis on weekends, Monday and Friday shifts preferred; may split day between two sites

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Suturing / Wound Care / Incision & Drainage
• Splinting
• Reading X-rays / EKGs
• Drawing blood
• Pediatric care
• Working independently in urgent care setting
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Connecticut license required
• Board: Board certification required
• DEA: Active DEA, assigned to a state
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS preferred
• Experience: Experience in urgent care and/or emergency medicine required; must be able to travel 45+ minutes and adjust to schedule/site changes
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide independent urgent care across various Connecticut counties
• Flex between multiple clinic sites within a single shift as needed
• Deliver timely and high-quality care to a range of patients, including pediatric through geriatric
• Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and reading imaging studies
• Collaborate with GoHealth scheduling team to meet dynamic staffing needs
