Opportunity: NP/PA - Neurology
This position offers the chance to join a growing Neurology Department where you'll work alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative team environment. You'll gain diverse experience in a robust learning environment that will enhance your skills in Neurology.
Job Details:
- Full-time position (1.0 FTE) with Monday-Friday hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Inpatient call Monday-Friday with MD support and collaboration
- Work in a General Neurology Department with the ability to focus on select patient populations
- Treat patients with various conditions including Migraine/Headaches, Concussion, Epilepsy, Dementia, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromuscular Disorders, and Neuropathy
- Access to experienced Neurodiagnostic Services team for EEGs and EMGs
- Inpatient responsibilities include 2-4 consults per day with daily follow-up and rounding
- Outpatient care involving 10-15 patients per day
- Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills
- Emphasize health promotion and disease prevention in patient care
- Master's or Doctorate degree required for NPs; Bachelor's or Master's Degree for PAs
- Previous experience in Neurology preferred
- Must maintain appropriate state licensure and certifications
