Locums - Hematology/Oncology - Delaware, Ohio IMLC Accepted Specialty: Oncology/HematologyStart Date: 10/8/2025

Schedule & Coverage

  • Coverage Dates:

  • October 8, 9, 10

  • October 15, 16, 17

  • October 22, 23, 24

  • October 29, 30, 31

  • Clinic: Wednesday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

  • Weekday call coverage included

  • Amount of coverage needed: 1 day per month

    Practice & Responsibilities

    • Setting: Hospital-based outpatient clinic

    • Patient Volume: 15-18 patients/day

    • Patient Population: Adults, age 18+

    • Support Staff: 1 APP, 1 RN, 1 MA

    • Responsibilities:

    • Outpatient clinic visits and weekday call

    • Check EPIC In-Basket daily and empty (attached to prior locums)

    • Place own orders (nursing support available if needed)

    • Do not override ABN warnings

    • Sign outpatient notes by EOD or by following day

    • Report off to next provider in on-call rotation

    • After-hours call coverage as scheduled (see call coverage calendar)

    • Round on any assigned inpatients in AM, complete consult notes by EOD

    Facility & EMR

    • EMR: Epic

    • Hospital Bed Size: No inpatient census to manage (rounding only on consults as assigned)

    Requirements

    • Board Certified in Oncology - Required

    • Active OH License or IMLC LOQ - Required

    • DEA - Required

    • Minimum 1 year of experience
