  • Description: Henry Ford Jackson Hospital HFHJ a proud partner of Henry Ford Health System since 2016 is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Urologist to join our esteemed team in Jackson Michigan. Located just 77 miles west of Detroit our facility is known for its quality innovation and the remarkable care we deliver to the Jackson community.Job Description:Accepting candidates who are TRULY Board Eligible to become BC within 6 months or Board Certified in UrologyReason for coverage: Growth Desired start date: ASAP with an approximate 90-day credentialing processSchedule to include outpatient inpatient rounds and clinicCollaborative call rotation: 1:4 for sustainable work-life balance to include some weekendsSurgical and clinic schedule: Two dedicated OR days per week 2.5 days in clinic. Providers typically see 22 patients daily including two new patients. 70-80 patients per day through the clinic.Facility trauma level/designation: Level 2.State-of-the-art facilities: Convenient clinic location minutes from the hospital.Skilled support staff: Includes Advanced Practice Professionals APPs five Medical Assistants MAs and front office staff.On-site procedures: Equipment for disposable cystoscopies vasectomies BCG and Gemzar instillation Uroflow and urodynamic studies and prostate biopsies.Streamlined consults: Only one hospital to consult minimizing travel and simplifying workflow.Focus on patient care: Highly collegial medical and administrative team ensures support for meaningful patient interactions.Recognition and inclusivity: Henry Ford Health recognized as a Top Diversity Leader by Modern Healthcare.Comprehensive services: Magnet-designated facility licensed for 420 beds offering advanced services like cardiac surgery neurosurgery minimally invasive structural heart procedures and Level II Trauma care.Community commitment: Teaching hospital with a Graduate Medical Education program and Center for Health Innovation partnering with local organizations to promote wellness.Integrated system: A recent joint venture with Ascension creates a statewide healthcare network with over 50000 employees across 550 sites.Documentation system/EMR: EPIC.This posting outlines the major duties responsibilities and authorities of the job but is not an exhaustive list of all tasks and functions.
