This established practice has a history dating back to 1980 and operates across two hospitals St. Peter's Hospital in Albany and Samaritan Hospital in Troy. As a member of this team, you'll be working alongside experienced physicians and Advanced Practitioners, providing comprehensive general cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Job Responsibilities:- Work across two hospitals: St. Peter's Hospital in Albany and Samaritan Hospital in Troy.
- Treat Non-Invasive Cardiology cases and perform procedures in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
- Exhibit excellent clinical and communication skills, with a strong commitment to team-oriented patient care.
- Participate in a shift schedule that entails a mix of hospital and clinic duties (50/50).
- Be available for on-call duties: 1 weeknight per week (telephone call); weekend call rotation is 1:5.
- Join a well-regarded practice with a diverse range of services, including Echocardiography, Vascular Ultrasound, and Interventional Cardiology.
- Open to H-1B visa candidates, but not accepting J-1 waivers.
- Upcoming 2025 graduates and recent grads working toward BC, as well as experienced candidates, are encouraged to apply.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine - REQUIRED
- TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility working toward BC) or Board Certified in Cardiology - REQUIRED
- New York License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Fellowship-trained in Cardiology (to be completed prior to start) - REQUIRED
- New York Medical License
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology
