Position Overview:
nThis role requires an experienced sonographer with strong breast ultrasound background due to the complexity of our high-risk patient population. Registration in breast ultrasound is optimal but not required. Must have experience with breast scanning; procedural background in biopsies is a plus, but not required.

Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (CHEA/USDOE accreditation in diagnostic medical sonography)

RDMS certification in Abdominal and OB/Gyn – Required

Minimum 2 years scanning experience – Required

Breast ultrasound experience – Required

Biopsy procedural experience – Preferred

Responsibilities:

Perform and communicate diagnostic examinations using sonography

Operate and maintain sonographic equipment; ensure daily Q/A compliance

Manage patient scheduling and lab operations during assigned shifts

Utilize independent judgment to differentiate normal vs. pathologic findings

Obtain thorough medical history and communicate results to radiologists
