Position Summary:
The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of CT procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. This position requires proficiency in ionizing radiation and advanced computer techniques to provide high-quality imaging. You will be expected to show empathy and professionalism while ensuring patient and team member safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform computerized tomographic procedures with a focus on safety and quality.
Collaborate with the Radiologist to ensure accurate imaging results.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
Follow protocols for radiation safety and protection.
Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient data.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: Graduate from a Radiologic Technology school approved by CAHEA/JRCT.
Certification: ARRT certification required, CT certification preferred.
Experience: One year of full-time CT experience preferred.
