- Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long-Term Care (LTC)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
- Healthcare Setting: Long-Term Care Facility
- Location: Geneva, NY 14456 (New York healthcare jobs)
- Shift: Full-Time Nights (8-hour shifts)
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week, including every other weekend and holidays
- Assignment Duration: 22 weeks (Start: 9/23/2025 - End: 2/21/2026)
- Estimated Weekly Hours: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1280 - $1370
- Holiday Coverage: Must be available to work through the holiday season (no guaranteed RTO on major holidays)
- Active New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI required)
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
- Experience providing care to adult and geriatric populations
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Deliver direct and indirect skilled nursing care to assigned residents under RN supervision
- Collect and communicate data relevant to residents' physical and psychosocial conditions
- Assist in developing and revising age-appropriate, culturally relevant care plans
- Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal outcomes
- Maintain current knowledge and competency in nursing practice through continuing education and in-service programs
- Participate in mentoring and orientation of new staff
- Promote resident safety and a healthy environment
- Demonstrate leadership and professionalism within the scope of LPN practice
- Comply with healthcare facility policies and procedures regarding occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens
