Job Responsibilities:
Perform ultrasound examinations with proficiency on various Medical Sonography equipment and manufacturer’s hardware/software
Apply specific training in Medical Sonography to provide vascular and obstetric imaging services
Utilize knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to assist in diagnosis and treatment
Read and communicate effectively in English to ensure clear patient and team interactions
Independently exercise good judgment and take initiative in clinical decision-making
Manage multiple projects efficiently under deadline pressures
Demonstrate professional maturity, honesty, integrity, and confidentiality in all duties
Maintain flexibility and willingness to accept new responsibilities as assigned
Comply with department-specific training and on-call requirements
Proficient use of personal computers including word processing for documentation and communication
Exhibit excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively under stress and fluctuating workload demands
 

Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography
Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) – Required
Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification
Minimum of one year radiologic/imaging experience, including vascular and obstetric sonography
Ability to maintain all registries and licenses required by state and federal law
Must comply with 60-mile radius rule
Ability to comply with on-call specifics (though no on-call required for this assignment)
