About The Position
IR/CATH LAB TECH - 40 HRS DAY (Monday -Friday shifts) Start Date: 9/9 2 years of experience required First timers accepted: No Certs Required: MD license, RT-R ARRT, ACLS, BLS On Call: Call every other week Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. Local Rate within 60 miles: See AM Shift: Days 7-1530 PM//40 hours weekly Special Procedures: Interventional - tunneled catheter placements (mediports, permacaths, hickmans), embolization's, drain placements, suprapubic catheter placements, peg placements, pleurx catheter placements Pain- epidural blocks, radiofrequency ablations Vascular- angiograms, thrombectomies, fistulograms, IVC filters Skill Required: Interventional Radiology, PACS, Angioplasty, Embolization, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement, Liver Biopsy, Mesenteric Angiogram, Paracentesis, Stent placement, Thoracentesis, Catheter/drain exchange, Internal/external biliary drainage, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Ureteral Stent Placement, Carotid Angiography, Discogram, Embolization, Stent placement, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Dialysis Graft interventions (fistulograms/declots), Endovascular Interventions, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled/PICC lines), Siemens, Accurate monitoring, Equipment set up, Perform EKG lead placement, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Scrub- maintain sterile field, GE/Philips azurion C-arm/portable C arm /contrast, cerner Skills Preferred: Computed tomography, Ultrasound, IV starts Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care Magnet Certified Scrubs Provided
