Job Title: MRI Technologist
Shift: AM (10 Hours)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Location: 50 miles or less from the workplace
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The ideal candidate will possess experience with Siemens MRI systems and have a strong commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling MRI equipment.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures.
Work Environment:
- The position requires flexibility in scheduling as staff rotate through all shifts, including daylight, evenings, and midnights.
- Shifts typically consist of either four 10-hour shifts or a combination of two 12-hour and two 8-hour shifts.
- Weekend shifts are mandatory with an expectation for staff to rotate through holidays.
- There is no on-call requirement for this position.
Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT (MR) registry is required.
- Experience with Siemens MRI technology is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients and the healthcare team.
- Must be willing to pursue Pennsylvania fingerprints for credentialing, with documents due Tuesday prior to start.
