nDuties Description The Nursing Assistants (Certified) have primary responsibility for the direct hands-on care rendered to the residents of the Home.
nMinimum Qualifications Reassignment: Current New York State Department of Health Veterans Home at Batavia employee with permanent or contingent permanent status as a Nursing Assistant Certified.Possession of current certification as a New York State Certified Nursing Assistant.Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate will have long-term care experience
nAdditional Comments One permanent, non-competitive, full-time appointment. The posted salary range includes statutory hiring rate at step 4 and job rate for CSEA Grade 8 ($40,391 - $49,743), plus an additional geographic pay differential of $4,000.If applicable, the inconvenience pay program of $575 per year will be paid to employees who work four (4) hours or more between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Hours worked between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on an overtime basis are not included for Inconvenience Pay.
