Job Title: Registered Echocardiographer
Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM (Dayshift: Sunday - Thursday)
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Echocardiographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality cardiac care by performing non-invasive echocardiography tests that assist in the diagnosis and management of patients with heart conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct echocardiograms and other diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during testing, providing clear explanations and support.
- Analyze test results and communicate findings to the healthcare team efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to the echocardiography process.
- Collaborate effectively with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on the latest techniques and technologies in echocardiography.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer (RCS).
- Previous experience in echocardiography is preferred.
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Personal Health Requirements:
- COVID-19 Vaccine (for onboarding)
- MMR Immunization (for onboarding)
- Hepatitis B Vaccination status (for onboarding)
- Additional health screenings as required (e.g., Fit Test, Varicella)
Professional Requirements:
- Successful completion of required background checks and verifications, including criminal background check and education verification.
- Active participation in compliance training and policy adherence.
Contract Details:
- Guaranteed hours and a 90-week contract term with opportunities for ongoing assignments.
