Schedule: Flexible Scheduling, Monday-Friday, 8hr Day and Evening Shifts

SUMMARY:

Join our dedicated team as an Ultrasound Technician, where your expertise is vital in delivering high-quality imaging exams that support our patient care objectives. You will perform a variety of sonography exams, including Vascular, Abdominal, OB/GYN, and Neurovascular, with the goal of obtaining clear images that assist our Radiologists and Neurologists. Your commitment to exceptional patient care is just as important as your technical skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct ultrasound scans, including abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, and transcranial Doppler exams.
  • Produce accurate ultrasound images and collect necessary measurements.
  • Assist physicians during invasive procedures under sonographic guidance.
  • Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Document scan performance in patient charts and prepare preliminary reports, relaying information to the appropriate medical staff.
  • Ensure rooms are prepared, clean, and adequately stocked daily.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Effective June 1, 2023: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate or Bachelor's Degree in Ultrasound is required for new hires.
  • For ACR accredited Radiology sites/affiliates, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification is required within 6 months of graduation from a CAAHEP accredited program or within 18 months from a non-accredited program.
  • For Neurovascular & Vascular departments, RDMS certification is not mandatory.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as a Sonographer is preferred.

RDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Requires exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds frequently, with the ability to constantly move objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Frequent walking, standing, or squatting is required.

PAY RANGE:

$35.00 - $47.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. This may be modified in the future and is eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined based on factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
