HIGHLIGHTS:

- Orientation: 1 week of orientation
- Weekend rotation: Sometimes travelers will be scheduled weekends, but it's usually just call
- Call requirements: Will be on call from Friday-Friday (7 days of call) every 2-3 months
- 30 minutes response time
- Weekday call time: Shift will be if it's their call day; call will be end of shift until the following morning at 0600
- Holiday Expectations: Typically travelers do not work holidays

- AAH adheres to a "fatigue policy" where all staff, including travelers, cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12 hour shifts

- Cath Lab Beds: 15 labs total shared between Cath Lab, EP, and Hybrid (11 strictly Cath Lab)
- Travelers will only be in Cath Lab
- Patient Types: Fast paced, high acuity Cath Lab, 24-40 cases a day, Adults, no peds
- Cath Lab procedures: Diagnostic, interventional, RHC, LHC, STEMI/NSTEMI, CTO, valvuloplasty, Cardiomems, biopsies, atherectomies, staged PCI, IABP, Impella; ECMO (preferred)
- Peripheral diagnostic and interventional cases, some fistulograms
- Hybrid procedures (experience preferred but not required): AAA grafts, thoracic grafts, clips, lots of TAVRs, Watchman
- Permanent staff will monitor cases
- Support staff: Housekeeping, Storeroom staff, Transporter ), Receptionist/HUC ), Charge nurse/Lead Tech, RT (24/7), Hospitalist (24/7), Cardiology in house 24/7
- Charting System: EPIC
- Equipment: Alaris, Pyxis, C-arms: GE, Volcano, St. Jude, Alphavac, Angiovac, EKOS, Anari
- Hemodynamic: GE Pruka (aka Maclab)
- PACS: Fuji and ProSolv
- IABP: Maquet
- Department staffed 24/7
- Lab staffs for 8 and 12 hour shifts, travelers can do either shift or combo
