• New Mexico Heart Institute has over 30 years of diagnostic, interventional and preventive cardiovascular expertise. Our team of over 50 providers use state-of-the-art technology, offering the latest treatment options for all types of heart and vascular conditions.

Responsibilities

• Process remote patient interrogations from all manufacturers; Boston Scientific, Biotronik, Abbott, and Medtronic.
• Perform interrogations of implantable pacemakers and defibrillators and process reports.
• Identify critical device and/or patient issues and bring to attention of provider.
• Maintain device data base.
• Maintain and monitor systems, equipment and supplies for assigned department.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications
Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Six (6) months of related experience in a healthcare environment
• Current BLS; ACLS; National Certification
• Device Technician Requirements: CCDS/ IBHRE Certification required within first year of employment
• Knowledge of a variety of software applicants programs
• Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Radiation Safety procedures

Preferred Job Requirements

• Associate's Degree in CVT program from an accredited institution
• One (1) year OR experience
