HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Lanham, Maryland.

Job Duties:

Perform MRI procedures on adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in acute care, ICU, and ER/trauma settings

Operate GE and Philips MRI equipment; utilize PACS system

Perform a wide range of MRI scans including brain, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, musculoskeletal, and special imaging procedures (MRA/MRV, MRCP, post-processing, contrast media use)

Apply professional knowledge in radiation safety, infection control, and IV contrast administration

Maintain accurate documentation within the Epic charting system

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and follow isolation precautions

May float as needed, within scope of practice

Required:

ARRT (MR) certification and Maryland state license.

BLS certification

2 years of current MRI Tech experience

Proficiency with Epic charting system

COVID-19 vaccine required (no exemptions); Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Two supervisory references required

On-call and weekend availability

Preferred:

Previous charge experience

Experience in teaching hospital settings

Skills in abdominal MRV, neck MRV, and starting peripheral IVs

Management or lead experience a plus
