Position Summary:
As an MRI Technologist, you will perform MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) exams within the hospital setting, selecting specific software parameters according to established protocols to assist referring physicians in diagnosis. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, administering contrast media, and accurately selecting anatomic and technical parameters to produce high-quality cross-sectional images.
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (ARRT) or graduate from American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARM RIT) with an Associate Degree focusing on medical imaging, preferably MRI.
Licensure, Certification, and Registration:
- ARRT certification in Radiography OR ARRT MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
