Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Tech
Location: Columbus, OH 43210
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 4x10s (11:30 AM – 10:00 PM)
Job Summary: Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a strong background in Operating Room imaging, including C-arm and O-arm procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital environment, with exposure to advanced surgical procedures and cutting-edge equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide C-arm and O-arm imaging coverage during surgical procedures.
Perform high-quality X-ray imaging in an OR setting.
Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and other clinical staff.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and equipment functionality.
Adapt to patient needs across inpatient, outpatient, and trauma settings.
Float to other units/locations of equal acuity as needed.
Participate in on-call rotation and rotating weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications:
ARRT (R) certification
BLS certification
Active Ohio State License (or eligibility to obtain)
Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-ray Tech
Previous experience in a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital
Proficiency in C-arm and O-arm operation – must score 3s or 4s (Hard Stop)
Experience with equipment such as GE, Ziehm*, Medtronic, Stryker, CT Airo
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with EPIC charting system
Previous travel experience (not required)
