Job Description
Job Title: Cath Lab Tech
Profession: Cath Lab Tech

Shift: 10 hours
Hours per Shift: 10
Experience: 2-3 years in Cath Lab with impella, telemetry, and IABP experience required.
License: MA RT or RCIS License required.
Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
Must-Have: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Description:
The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist performs functions related to hemodynamic and imaging.
Ambulatory monitoring operation will occur in the department.
This role involves performing procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision.
Responsibilities include performing all duties under the direction of the Chief Radiologic Technologist.
Responsibilities also include recording hemodynamic monitoring and assisting with radiologic operations.
Maintaining proficiency through continuing education credits is essential.
Quality control standards need to be performed using optimum diagnostic imaging.
Simple troubleshooting for equipment is required, as well as requesting service when needed.
Completing patient billing forms for procedures is mandatory.
Daily calibration and maintenance of the film processor using sensitometric and densitometric equipment must be performed.
Assistance in preparing patients for invasive procedures is required.
This role includes taking evening and weekend calls for emergency procedures.
Maintaining confidentiality and security of all hospital-related and patient-related data is essential.
Abiding by relevant policies and procedures is required.
Demonstrating respect and regard for all patients, families, visitors, and employees is expected.
The importance of recognizing and respecting cultural diversity for all customers is emphasized.
Effective communication with internal and external customers is crucial, respecting differences in cultures, values, and beliefs.
Other related duties may be assigned as required.
