**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a qualified Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general, obstetric, vascular, and breast sonography, and will be responsible for performing sonographic exams, ensuring optimal patient care, and maintaining high standards of practice in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform diagnostic imaging and sonographic examinations in compliance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret sonographic data and deliver accurate reports.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during all procedures.
- Maintain sonography equipment, troubleshoot issues, and uphold cleanliness in the work area.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to ensure compliance with industry standards.
**Qualifications:**
- Completion of a C.A.H.E.P. accredited training program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Certification through ARRT in Radiology is required; CCI certification is acceptable but not preferred.
- Valid credentials as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS.
- Current BLS certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in general, obstetric, vascular, and breast imaging is required.
- Familiarity with the Meditech Expanse charting system is a plus.
- Must disclose any background hits at the time of submission and provide a copy of an unexpired driver's license.
- Candidates must be within a 100-mile radius to be considered.
