Position Overview:
nHumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT/Cath Lab Tech) for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role supports invasive cardiac procedures in the Cath/EP Lab and functions in multiple roles including scrub, circulator, and monitor/documenter. The CVT ensures safe and efficient procedures, maintaining sterile technique and operating complex cardiovascular equipment.

Responsibilities:

  Prepare the procedure room and sterile field, including setup of instruments, equipment, and supplies.

  n n
• n

  Anticipate procedural needs and assist during interventions.

  n n
• n

  Operate and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring optimal function.

  n n
• n

  Maintain sterile technique and handle instruments properly.

  n n
• n

  Support multiple roles on the procedure team: scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor.

  n n
• n

  Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary staff to provide high-quality patient care.

Required Experience:

  Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience

  n n
• n

  Experience in Right & Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever

  n n
• n

  Mechanical Circulatory Support experience: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo

  n n
• n

  Structural Heart procedures: TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty

  n n
• n

  Critical care or cardiac experience

  n n

Certifications Required:

  Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) – CCI or ARRT (ARRT preferred)

  BLS – American Heart Association
