**Job Description: CT Technologist - Noc Shift**
**Shift:** Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7 PM - 8 AM (Overnight; includes on-call rotation)
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and professional CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate service excellence while performing a variety of essential tasks associated with CT imaging, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and provide necessary medical and radiological supplies for procedures according to established protocols.
- Maintain sterility in all procedures and handle instruments appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient privacy.
- Verify patient identification following organizational policies.
- Monitor patient conditions before and after contrast injections, reporting any changes to nursing staff and radiologists.
- Ensure availability of medical records, previous reports, laboratory results, and patient histories.
- Assist in emergency response as necessary.
- Maintain adequate linen, contrast media, and biopsy/drainage supplies in scanning rooms.
- Participate in daily inventory and restocking of supplies, reporting any expired items.
- Clean and maintain CT equipment, tables, and scanning rooms after each use.
- As Point staff, manage the triage of procedures, ensuring timely coordination of emergency and unscheduled requests.
- Communicate patient status effectively with all departments and personnel involved.
- Ensure the immediate transportation of patients post-procedure and assist with routine procedures.
- Assess patient ability to tolerate contrast and screen for allergies and medication interactions.
- Regularly notify coordinators or leads of any equipment malfunctions and adhere to Quality Assurance/Quality Control requirements.
**Qualifications:**
**Education:**
- Required: High School Diploma/GED.
- Required: Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from an accredited School of Radiography or College-based Radiography program.
**Certifications:**
- Required: ARRT RT (R) and ARRT RT (CT) certifications.
- Required: New Jersey State X-Ray License.
- Required: BLS Certification.
**Skills & Experience:**
- Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
