Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Profession: Radiologic Tech

Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (0600, 0700, 0730, 1130) + on-call
Experience: Minimum of 1 year
License: Required
Certifications: BLS, ARRT, State License
Must-Have:
C-arm experience required; O-arm experience preferred but training is available.
Experience with portables and fluoroscopy is essential.
Description:
Looking for a Radiologic Technologist to join our radiology team.
The department consists of seven treatment areas.
The candidate will cover inpatient and outpatient areas, as well as the operating room and emergency room.
Imaging studies performed include pediatric to geriatric patients.
The workload consists of high volumes in both the operating room and emergency room, along with fluoroscopy procedures.
On average, 70-80 scans/studies are performed daily, in addition to 5-15 operating room cases.
The department utilizes an electronic medical record system and PACS.
The equipment includes OEC C-arms, Metronics O-arms, Fuji general and portable systems, and Siemens fluoroscopy machines.
Supervisors and coordinators will be present on day shifts.
Radiologists are available in-house from Monday to Friday.
Candidates are not required to start IVs.
Shifts will vary between 8 or 12 hours, with variable start times.
Weekday call is required after shifts, 1-2 days per week.
Weekend call is on a rotating schedule every third weekend, with morning and night shifts available.
Response time for calls is expected to be 20-30 minutes.
Holiday coverage may be required if needed.
Scrubs will be provided for the staff.
The orientation includes unit-specific training and training on the electronic medical record system.
The department fosters a collaborative team environment.
Candidates must adhere to the radius rule of 50 miles.
Request for time off must be provided upfront and additional requests may not be approved.
