Description:
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the cardiovascular operating room.
The operating room averages 2 open heart surgeries (CABG/valve replacements) and 2 cardiothoracic cases (thoracotomy) per week.
On-call duties are required after shifts and for 24 hours on weekends, averaging 2 weeks per month.
The likelihood of being called in for shifts is very minimal.
Having experience in trauma and robotic surgeries would be helpful.
Call requirements will be based on procedures and may include weekend shifts.
