Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technician
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology
Specialty: General Ultrasound
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night
Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (21:00 - 07:30)
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required
License: Licensed candidates preferred, 30-day work authorization accepted
Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT Sonography
Must-Have:
Experience with Liver and Renal Doppler
Preferred Trauma Level I experience
EPIC charting experience preferred
Description:
This position requires an Ultrasound Technician with experience in a Level 1 trauma setting.
The candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound imaging.
Black scrubs are required for this position.
The technician will work with a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Candidates must be prepared to float within their scope if needed.
A background check will be conducted for all candidates.
All candidates need to adhere to the facility's policies.
Candidates with a BSN are preferred.
Candidates must have the ability to assist with weekend coverage as needed.
All ER and Psych candidates are required to undergo fingerprinting as per regulations.
