Senior Agile Coach Hybrid (Libertyville, IL)
6+ Month Contract (Extensions Likely)
Our client, a leader in their industry, is undergoing a global SAP implementation and is seeking an Agile Coach to guide and optimize their delivery approach. This is a hybrid role based in the Libertyville, IL area, offering an exciting opportunity to shape agile transformation across multiple project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide oversight and direction to all Scrum Masters within the program.
Define and refine the overall agile delivery framework for the initiative.
Facilitate sprint planning, agile ceremonies, and program-level events to ensure alignment and efficiency.
Lead training and continuous improvement initiatives at the program level, enhancing organizational agility.
Implement and drive Scaled Agile (SAFe) practices across a minimum of five teams.
Serve as a Release Train Engineer (RTE)/Coach, leading Program Increment (PI) planning sessions and other key SAFe events.
Leverage JIRA and Kanban boards for agile workflow management.
Provide strategic coaching and hands-on support for a successful ERP implementation.
Required Qualifications:
5-6+ years of Agile Coaching experience, with a strong track record of coaching teams and organizations.
Experience as a Director of IT, Program Manager, or similar leadership role preferred.
Deep expertise in Scaled Agile (SAFe), with proven success managing agile transformations at scale.
Extensive experience leading PI planning sessions and agile events.
Strong background in ERP implementations, ideally within large, global organizations.
Highly collaborative, articulate, and adaptable, with the ability to read the room and tailor coaching approaches accordingly.
Comfortable interfacing at all levels of the program, from team members to executive leadership.
